624-WALK
Available to anyone on campus who wants to stay safe by walking with a partner. When you call (612-624-9255), University Security will meet you wherever you are and walk with you to your destination, even if it’s off campus.
Gopher Way
Monday through Friday, take a break from the outdoors by traveling through the tunnels and skyways across campus. Remember to have your U Card with you!
Blue Light Kiosks
Communicate with UMPD and dispatchers at the push of a button if you encounter an emergency. They also provide 24/7 video surveillance and a visible presence to reassure patrons as they enjoy traveling at any time of day. See the map of kiosk locations.
Rave Guardian
Let your peers virtually walk with you. Download the app, set the timer, ping your contact, and be on your way. If the timer expires before you reach your destination, police and your contact will be notified.
Campus Maps
Find well-lit paths, bike lockers, bus routes, wheelchair accessible buildings, and more — all in one place. Printable maps are also available.
Gopher Chauffeur
A free ride service for students who need a safe way to get home. To request a ride, call 612-624-3152 or download the TransLoc app. Rides are available seven nights a week and have a wide range of pickup and drop-off locations.
Universal Transit Pass
Students can get access to buses and trains across the Twin Cities metro with the tap of their U Card. Faculty and staff can also receive an Employee Transit Pass.

University Paratransit Service
Request assisted curb-to-curb transportation on campus year-round. Make a reservation at 612-624-8338, Monday through Friday.
