Highly trained personnel at the University of Minnesota work every day to ensure the health and safety of our campus community. A health emergency is a rare situation with the potential for widespread illness, even death, among a large group of people. The Health Emergency Response Office has responsibility to ensure health incidents and emergencies affecting the University community are addressed in a timely, efficient, and effective manner while utilizing resources and expertise available both internal and external to the University.
