Crime Prevention

Crime Prevention

At the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, we work together to eliminate crime, threats, and violence on our campus. Campus public safety professionals respond rapidly to any situation. And thousands of well-informed students, faculty, and staff do their part to keep our campus community secure and safe.

Please join the second safety forum on Wednesday, August 24 from 5:30-7 p.m., in the Cowles Auditorium at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, or attend virtually (link coming soon). Faculty, staff, students, parents, and other interested stakeholders are welcome. Capacity is capped at about 250 attendees in the auditorium, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The closest parking lot is the 19th Avenue Ramp on the West Bank.

Additional details will be shared here as they are available.

Check out safety updates and find answers to commonly asked questions on Campus and Neighborhood Safety FAQs 2022 and visit Safety Initiatives at the University for an overview of our approach.
