The University of Minnesota Twin Cities is excited to welcome incoming students to campus!

With the Air Quality Index in many parts of Minnesota hovering in unhealthy ranges due to wildfire debris, the University of Minnesota is urging all students, faculty, staff, and visitors on its campuses to monitor local conditions and follow health guidelines from state and federal agencies.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. While mental health is important to address year-round, Mental Health Awareness Month provides a dedicated time to broadcast the message that mental health matters.

Minnesota’s Severe Weather Awareness Week is April 8-12. 

As graduates, family, and friends gather to celebrate commencement, the University has put many safety measures into effect to support the influx of people on and around campus.

Last week, the University, in partnership with the City of Minneapolis and Metro Transit, discussed public safety updates and prevention with the community.
